Ashtanga yoga is not hard, but it is challenging.  Ashtanga is trauma connected. Ashtanga is emotional and powerful. It asks you to be mindful and self aware. It asks you to dig deep and rewards you with strength and intuition.

Metta means loving kindness and that is what you cultivate.

My practice will help you settle into your breath so you can calm your mind. You will navigate through and hold poses that will create strength and flexibility while honoring your softness. With support, you will push past personal boundaries meant to take you outside your comfort zone to reactivate mental and emotional strength. 

This practice is deeply rooted in the Ashtanga Primary Series, pulling out key but approachable poses. Unlike the traditional setting, this moving meditation style class is set to music and concludes with a Metta Meditation.

Grab your mask and your mat! Public classes are held every Thursday night at 7:30pm in Flossmoor.
There is limited space so please book your spot early.  No drop-ins at this time.

If a group setting isn’t your thing or if you’re craving some personal hands on attention, I am available for intimate one-on-one sessions (bring a friend or two) to help you begin or deepen your practice. These sessions are designed entirely around you.
